T.R.A.C.E.S. is a proposed framework for identifying elementary school children whose academic success, emotional well being, safety, or basic-needs stability may be disrupted by significant trauma.
It is designated to define and measure a population of children who may need additional support….not to diagnose a mental health condition.
Volunteer Event With Altria
Community Foundation of Richmond along with Altria orchestrated a volunteer with HopeFor Learning to organize basic need kits for children in Title 1 Elementary schools in Metro Richmond and surrounding counties.
Hope On Wheels
Hope On Wheels is our capital campaign to raise $125,000 for a Mobile Delivery and Engagement Hub that will bring critical resources directly to underserved children and families. This custom-outfitted van will allow HopeFor Learning to deliver food, clothing, hygiene products, books, and school supplies to Title 1 schools across Richmond, Chesterfield, and Henrico. By removing transportation and access barriers, we can meet families where they are with the essentials they need most. The mobile unit will also serve as a visible symbol of hope and support in the communities we serve. Your support brings us one step closer to putting hope on the road.
If you could consider becoming a monthly donor, the impact would not only be consistent but also transformational. Monthly giving creates a ripple effect of change, enabling us to plan, act, and sustain our efforts year-round. To put it into perspective: a $10 monthly donation can feed 10 to 20 children. A $100 monthly donation is equivalent to giving up just one coffee shop visit per workday. A small sacrifice with monumental impact.
